At just 21 years old Zendaya has pretty much taken over the world. From her Disney shows to her music to starring in the latest Spider-Man block buster movie, the sky is the limit for Z. But it hasn’t always been easy. In the November issue of Glamour magazine Zendaya was interviewed by fellow actress and friend Yara Shahidi and admitted it’s tough being known for her Disney past. She said QUOTE "There’s a lot I want to do in the movie world, Having a Disney past sometimes makes it difficult for people to take you seriously, so I have to pick the right projects, make sure I do the right things, take my time." We all know Zendaya isn’t only known for her Disney days though. Many people look up to her as activist. In the interview she opened up about how social media changed her saying QUOTE “As my social platforms grew, I realized that my voice was so much more important than I had originally thought. I think if every young person understood the power of their voice, things would be a lot different. And it’s becoming more popular to be outspoken. If people know your name, they should know it for a reason.” Couldn’t of said it better myself Z. But you guys my favorite part of the interview is when Zendaya gives advice to young girls And truly nothing is impossible for Z, she just wrapped filming on the last season of her Disney show KC Undercover which she co-stars AND PRODUCES and when asked what is next she said QUOTE "I want to produce and create shows and movies, whether or not I’m starring in them," You know when you watch a show and you’re like, 'That’s so good. I wish I’d made it?' Why not? Why not make it? Wild idea, I know."
